Testing

Testing recommendations will be tailored to your specific needs, based on your medical history, existing test results and symptoms, although Live Blood Analysis is an essential initial test. Once your test results are available and you have completed our detailed online questionnaire, you will have the opportunity to consult with one of our medical team of Mentors. You cannot proceed with Tests or Consultations unless you have registered as a patient here.

Our Tests

Live Blood & Flow Terrain Analysis

The Longhaulers Live Blood Test will be mandatory as it is an essential tool to see so many haematological issues that manifest in Longhaulers.

  • Abnormalities in the production of red and white blood cells
  • Circulatory damage to red blood cells
  • Imbalances in coagulation/clotting process i.e. thrombocyte/platelet activation, thrombocyte/platelet aggregation, excess fibrin production.
  • White blood cell activation i.e. viral, bacterial or parasitic infections, inflammatory reactions, immune system depletion

Essential Bio Markers

Essential Biomarkers can be run by your GP/PCP. These will be requested by all treating physicians as first line markers during treatment and include:
  • Liver Function (LFT)
  • Urea and Electrolyte (U&E)
  • Full Blood Count (FBC)
  • C-Reactive Protein (CRP)
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin B12
The following Test Link gives 39 Essential Bio Markers

Auto-Immune Markers

Although Live Blood Analysis will give a clear indication of Monocytes, Lymphocytes, White Blood cells and Immune activation, we are also seeing many raised Auto-Immune Markers in Longhaulers and therefore suggest it advisable to request your GP/PCP to run an Autoimmune Panel covering:
  • Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies
  • Thyroid Globulin Antibodies
  • Antinuclear Antibodies
  • Lupus anticoagulant
  • Mitochondrial Antibodies

Viral Markers

A clinical study revealed that 72.3% of patients with Long Covid and Vaccine Injury present with the following reactivation/activation of latent infections:
  • EBV: 42.6%
  • HHV: 6:25%
  • EBV+HHV6: 32.4%

If present, these must be addressed during treatment using a protocol against Viral Load and Viral Persistence. We therefore suggest it advisable to request your GP/PCP to run these tests, or they can be run privately here:

Covid-19 Antibody and Vaccine Immunity Tests

This test bundle combines our two COVID-19 antibody tests:

COVID-19 Antibody Test: This test looks for COVID-19 antibodies in a blood sample. Antibodies are made by the body in response to the virus. A positive antibody result indicates that you have had the COVID-19 virus in the past. This test will not provide you with a numerical value.

COVID-19 Vaccine Immunity Test: This test looks for COVID-19 spike protein antibodies in a blood sample. All currently available vaccines use the spike protein to produce an immune response. A positive antibody result indicates that you have produced antibodies in response to the vaccine or past COVID-19 infection.

The 2 combined tests cost £60 and can be ordered here.

Alternatively the Covid-19 Vaccine Immunity Test can be ordered separately at a cost of £39 here.

Ultimate Intolerance Test Kit

Over 900 Food & Non-Food Items Tested

The Ultimate Test includes the following tested categories:

  • Food Items (Dairy, Wheat & Gluten Items Included)
  • Non-Food Items
  • Metal Sensitivities
  • Vitamin and Mineral Analysis
  • E numbers Analysis
  • Digestive Health Analysis
  • Gut Biome Analysis
  • Metabolism Analysis

Adrenal Profile

During times of chronic illness adrenal fatigue can lead to a low cortisol state. Adrenal depletion can cause cause brain fog, low energy, depressive mood, salt and sweet cravings, light-headedness, and other symptoms. It is therefore useful to see the production of cortisol before and after treatment as output can be very low in Longhaulers.

Your GP/PCP may be able to run a 8-9am blood cortisol and a full adrenal panel, which is an excellent way of seeing your output throughout the day.

Clotting Assessment Tests

Our Live Blood Analysis is an essential tool to show imbalances in coagulation/clotting process, thrombocyte/platelet activation, thrombocyte/platelet aggregation, excess fibrin production if present.  However, in addition to this before consultation, it is helpful to have other essential clotting markers. These can be run by your GP/PCP or can be obtained privately. An example of these are:

Thyroid Function

We are seeing a high number of Longhaulers who are presenting with Hormone Dysregulation, in particular, Thyroid Dysfunction, Hashimoto’s and other Endocrine problems. Researchers from the University of Milan, Italy have found a link between Thyroid Dysfunction and COVID-19 and scientists discovered even one year after infection,  people with moderate-to-severe COVID-19 still had evidence of Thyroid Dysfunction.

We therefore recommend your GP/PCP run a full Thyroid Profile of T4, T3, TSH and Thyroid Antibodies.

G6PD Glucose

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) is an enzyme which helps red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs to tissues throughout the body. G6PD also helps to protect red blood cells from damage and premature destruction. This test measures the level of G6PD in your blood.

MTHFR: £120 (incl. VAT)

MTHFR and COMT: £138 (incl. VAT)

Analysing MTHFR gene variants C677T and A1298C via a saliva cheek swab sample.

Histamine Intolerance Test

To measure diamine oxidase (DAO) in your blood via Home Finger Prick Blood Sample

Diamine oxidase (DAO) stabilises mast cells, but more importantly, it is the predominant enzyme that breaks down histamine. Histamine Intolerance is intolerance of histamine consumed through food. It is caused by a deficiency in the histamine-degrading enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO) or by an imbalance of histamine and DAO.

With the Histamine Intolerance Test, you can determine the concentration of the enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO), which breaks down histamine in your intestine. Low DAO can be a marker of MCAS Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. If DAO is low we can raise those levels with DAO enzymes.

Histamine Intolerance Test – £49 (incl. VAT)
